Tim Gillig

Timothy R. Gillig is currently Executive Vice President of New Business Development for Hyde Park Partners which is a holding company for the following entities; Livingston & Haven, MROStop and AEG.   He began his career with L & H as a sales trainee in February of 1984, spent 13 years as a sales engineer where he won many sales awards, was promoted to Division Manager in 1997, ascended to Regional Manager in 2003, Director of Sales in 2006, Vice President of Sales in 2009 and President in 2014.

 

Livingston & Haven is an industrial technology provider in the Southeast U.S. that has been providing fluid power and motion control solutions to manufacturers since 1947. 

 

Tim has a Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology from Western Carolina University. He has passed his CFPS in fluid power, attended many fluid power training classes and has taught basic hydraulic principles. One of his many current roles is Director of Training for Livingston & Haven. His 37 years of experience in the fluid power industry also has led to technical articles being published in Fluid Power journals of solutions he has designed.  

 

Tim is very active in the community having served as President of the FPDA (Fluid Power Distributors Association) as well as his local Toastmasters club which meets weekly at Livingston & Haven’s training center in Charlotte, North Carolina. The impact the club has had on helping people to overcome their fear of public speaking is something in which Tim takes great pride.

Tim enjoys spending time with his wife Kelly and three grown children on Lake Wylie, SC as well as traveling and playing golf.
