Our Panels

DC Breaker Panels

Specifically designed for DC microgrids, this UL-listed system provides high-performance DC power distribution for mission-critical microgrids, managing inputs from batteries, converters, and PV sources. Rated for 380 VDC at 50 kW (peaking at 500 VDC / 125 kW), the panel includes integrated overcurrent protection and lockable PV string disconnects powered by ABB and Carling hardware.

Key Features:

  • Built-in DC Surge Protection: 1 kA short-circuit rated copper busbars and ABB Class II surge suppression.
  • Internal Hardware: Precision-engineered with Vishay monitoring, Phoenix Contact wiring, and Eriflex Flexibars.
  • Housing: A custom rugged Schaefer steel enclosure.
  • Compliance: Can be certified to UL508A and UL67 standards for maximum efficiency and safety.

DCMG Controller Panels

Built for demanding microgrid environments, this industrial-grade panel centers on a BENDER ISOCHA425HV insulation monitoring device that provides continuous ground fault detection and Modbus diagnostics for systems up to 1000 VDC. The architecture ensures high reliability and safety through Socomec SIRCO disconnects and Ferraz Shawmut Class CC fuses for arc-resistant, UL 508A-compliant switching, while a Phoenix Contact PLCnext AXC F 2152 controller manages scalable automation and secure networking. This connectivity is bolstered by a 16-port Ethernet switch and multi-protocol support—including Modbus TCP/RTU and CAN bus—for seamless integration with SCADA, BMS, or EMS platforms. To maintain uptime, the system features N+1 redundancy via Mean Well DRDN20-24 modules and a 24 VDC UPS pairing a SolaHD battery pack with a DUPS20 controller. The hardware is protected by Littelfuse IXYS 95A diode isolation against voltage spikes, precision wiring with Phoenix Contact terminal blocks, and a rugged Saginaw UL Type 3R/12/4 enclosure, with Banner S22 Pro indicators and BACO controls providing clear operator feedback.

Key Features:

  • Monitoring & Control: BENDER ISOCHA425HV (1000 VDC) for ground faults and a Phoenix Contact PLCnext AXC F 2152 for industrial automation.
  • Protection & Compliance: Socomec SIRCO disconnects and Ferraz Shawmut Class CC fuses for arc-resistant, UL 508A-compliant operation.
  • Power Redundancy: Mean Well DRDN20-24 modules (N+1) and a 24 VDC UPS system with a DUPS20 controller and SolaHD battery.
  • Networking: Multi-protocol connectivity via CAN bus, Modbus TCP/RTU, and an integrated 16-port Ethernet switch.
  • Isolation & Interface: Littelfuse IXYS 95A diodes for spike protection and Banner S22 Pro indicators for status feedback.
  • Housing: Industrial Saginaw UL Type 3R/12/4 enclosure with precision Phoenix Contact terminal blocks.
  • Software: Developed by Direct Energy Partners.

DC Combiner Panels

These panels provide a centralized DC interconnection point for combining multiple DC sources onto a common bus. Built around high-current ERIFLEX laminated busbars, they are designed for applications where overcurrent protection is provided upstream or downstream in the system.

The panel simplifies system wiring and reduces conductor congestion.

Key Features:

  • Up to 1000VDC
  • Up to 950A
  • Suitable for microgrids, battery systems, DC buses, and power conversion systems
  • Protection and/or measuring sensors/devices can be integrated into the panel
  • Custom layouts and terminations available

DCMG Metering Panel

The DCMG Metering Panel is an electrical panel designed to measure and monitor key parameters in a DC microgrid system. Its primary function is data collection — including voltage, current, power, and energy. While it can support control functions, its main purpose is accurate monitoring and full system visibility.

Typical applications include:

  • DC microgrids
  • Solar power systems
  • Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
  • DC-powered data centers
  • Industrial DC distribution systems

Our panel was developed to measure and control high-bay lighting in our warehouse and laboratory. It includes DC energy meters, current shunts, and contactors for automated lighting control.

The panel is integrated with a visualization system, allowing all key parameters to be displayed in a central control interface for real-time monitoring and management.

Communication options may include Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, Ethernet, or integration with PLC, SCADA, or EMS systems, depending on project requirements.

We can design a fully custom panel tailored to your project needs, or provide a standardized solution based on proven configurations.
