Partnership with Direct Energy Partners
In 2019, Dusan Bhrlik, formerly of Bosch, established Direct Energy Partners to continue developing the DC microgrid concept for an emerging market. AEG & DEP began collaborating on the DCMG effort the following year, and created the DC Lab at AEG headquarters to continue with DC R&D. In 2021, the two organizations signed a Master Partnership to formalize their working relationship.
Today, AEG and DEP join forces to bring designs and projects to fruition, such as the Salisbury Square Project in Vermont.
